All snapshots by default are saved on the local computer to the path Documents And Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Object Compare\Snapshots. This means the snapshots can only be accessed by the local user on the computer.

In order for snapshots to be accessed by many users, or to store them on a more accessible resource that is backed up regularly, you can change the default path using the Options dialog.

To change the default snapshot path:

• From the Object Compare main menu, select Tools -> Options.
• In the Options dialog select the Snapshots tab.
• Select the ... browse button to nominate a new path to save all snapshots.
• Select the OK button to save the changes.
