Object Compare maintains progress information for all executing snapshots. The Snapshots window is a dockable window that describes the type of object behind a snapshot, the progress estimate expressed as a percentage, the database file size of the snapshot, and the estimated time remaining until completion. The Snapshots window is updated every few seconds by the background process creating the snapshots.

To monitor executing snapshots:

• From the Object Compare main menu, select View -> Snapshots Window.
• The Snapshots window will appear docked in the main window, with status information for the currently executing snapshots.

By default, the Snapshot window is automatically displayed when a snapshot starts.
