Object Compare
Info: Workspace Viewer overview

The Workspace Viewer compares two object structures side-by-side. Object structures are compared using a left and right selection (or base and version objects respectively), and with the optional inclusion of a rule determining how the objects are compared. Collectively, Object Compare can remember these settings by saving them as a Workspace.

Workspace files are saved to disk and can be re-visited at a later time. When re-opened and refreshed, the Workspace Viewer profiles the two objects side-by-side with differences highlighted.

Objects can be expanded or collapsed by clicking the + and - symbols to the left of each object in the tree. Essentially, you can explore the object structures as you would using Windows Explorer.

As a comparison executes, the status bar at the base of the main window displays a marqee progress bar with an estimated time to completion. Objects are loaded into the Workspace tree as they are processed. Each object is color coded indicating it's status relative to the progress of the comparison.
