How to: Add SQL Server Instances to Object Compare

This topic describes how to add a SQL Server instance to the Object Compare instance list. Object Compare will only list the SQL Server Groups and Registrations created on the local machine Object Compare is running on.

Add an Instance using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio:

Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Add a new Server Group and/or Server Registration (See Management Studio documentation for details)
