Cortex Systems releases Report Analyzer 5.0 for Crystal Reports

Cortex Systems, the provider of the premier analysis and documentation
software for Crystal Reports®, today announced the availability
of Report Analyzer 5.0.
Report Analyzer 5.0 analyses and documents reports created
with Crystal Reports version 8.0 to XI R2. It catalogues your
Crystal Reports design elements into the Report Analyzer database
creating a repository of invaluable information. Information
can be used for re-using formulas, determining database layouts/structures,
and maintaining consistency across reports. It gives you the
ability to search any report object or settings across all
your reports including text, formulas, tables, fields, parameters,
running totals, sub-reports.

Uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database backend for storing
documentation.
Export entire Workbenches or folders as Html documentation
to share on your intranet. The documentation includes report
diagrams (as images) with links for all report design objects.
More comprehensive cross reference analysis.
Analyses Cross-tabs and running totals.
Analyses SQL settings for reports created using commands
and views.
Improved Complexity Metrics analysis.
Simplified search and query function with results displayed
in a separate docked window
